(More customer reviews)This expensive unit is very quiet and is well built, except for a ridiculously ineffective backdraft damper.It has a 3/16" clearance all around the flap that leaks air.So, it allows air to come in when the unit is off.I removed the flap and installed an external plastic one that seals better.Those are cheap so it's not a big deal; having a quiet unit matters more to me.The light is very powerful and does not overheat, and turns on instantly (no flickering or low initial light).
